Your practice stays on your device

This is the most important sentence on this page: nothing you type, select, or practice on The Table is transmitted to us or stored on our servers. Your scenario choices, your progress marks, and anything you draft live in your own browser's local storage, on your device, under your control. Printing uses your browser's print function, so your practice content goes from your device to your printer without touching us. We built it this way on purpose, because practice for these conversations can include the most personal facts of a person's life, and the safest place for those facts is with you.

Clearing your practice

Using a shared or public computer, at a library or a program center? Clear the browser's site data for this site when you finish, or use a private browsing window, and everything is gone. Nothing persists anywhere else, because nothing was ever sent anywhere else.

What we can see

Standard, cookieless page analytics (page views and visit counts, with no cookies, no personal identifiers, and no cross-site tracking). No advertising networks, no behavioral profiling, no fingerprinting, ever.

If you choose the coach

The optional paid coach is the one feature where your words leave your device, because a live conversation requires it. That exchange is disclosed at the point of use, exists for your session only, is never stored, and is never used to train anything. The free tools never do this.

No accounts required

Everything free on The Table works with no account, no email, and no sign-in. If you choose to give us an email for updates, we use it for that and nothing else, and every message includes a working unsubscribe.
